What I have done is merge a stock A-pillar with the Gauge Works 2-gauge pod. I acomplished
this by first cutting holes in the stock A-pillar where the gauges will protrude. Next, I glued the pod to the
top of the A-pillar and filled all the cracks with a high-strength plastic adhesive (available at Wal-Mart as "Plastic
Welder"). I then used bondo to smooth the transition from the pod to the pillar, and had it painted by Robert
Johnson, who owns a reputable local dyeing company called Dyeco (702)456-7841.
It came out quite well and I have had many people comment on how it looks like a stock, factory piece, which is
what I wanted.
Here are some pictures of the Custom A-Pillar Gauge Pod and Autometer "Z-Series" Gauges.
